In the Concrete Workshop you have the capability of working with a wide range of equipment & materials:

- Large strong floor, in central workshop for pouring and testing, measuring 12m x 5m
- Dartec Electro-Hydraulic loading frame
- Drop test facility form 6 m, can test up to 40 kg mass
- Environmental chambers for freeze and thaw testing
- Large concrete workshop and mixing rooms
- Three mixers in a various of sizes
- Vibration table
- Compressing and split test machine
- Measurements laboratory
- Range of tests including: high frequency date
acquisition system, Limpet pull off equipment for in-situ - Testing of concrete strength, slump test
- Core machine 40-100mm
- 90 Degree Curing Tank
Materials Available
​
Basic materials are free, these include standard Cem 1 cement mix (98% clicker), fine sand and basalt aggregate in various sizes.
However if you need anything special it can Be ordered in at a charge or you can supple it yourself.
Has the ability to add fibers to the mix if need.
